(a rolling course)
3 April Belfast (Titanic Quarter) 10k 1400
10 April 'Connemara Races' half-marathon/marathon and ultra
(road but hilly and weather can be an issue)
23 April Cooley Mountains half-marathon 1000
(got to be seriously hilly!)
2 May Belfast marathon (with walks and relays)
(great atmosphere and ~1500 relay teams!)
Belvedere evening 5k trail races
4 + 11 + 18 + 25 May (Weds)
(lovely woodland course)
13 May Belfast (Lagan) 10k
29 May Newry half-marathon and also Phoenix Park 5k
15 June (Wed) Lisburn half-marathon (+other races)
(great atmosphere, but rolling course)
16 July Phoenix Park (Adidas) 5 miles
19 July Portaferry 10 miles
10 Aug (Wed) Kinnegad 5k 2000
20 Aug Phoenix Park (Adidas) 10 miles
27 Aug 'Warrior Run' Strandhill, Sligo 10 miles
(Five miles is hilly plus a really big one to reach half way. Maybe two miles downhill, no flat! Great atmosphere)
28 Aug Longford half-marathon plus marathon
3 Sept Dingle half-marathon/marathon and ultra
(Amazing scenery with hills and weather)
11 Sept Derry half-marathon
17 Sept Phoenix Park (Adidas) half-marathon
1 Oct 'Causeway Coast Races' half-marathon/marathon and ultra
(Staggering scenery, course is as hard as you will get in Ireland outside of mountains; but worth it)
31 Oct Dublin marathon
