Daingean Co Offaly is the scene of one of the most competitive 5km race in the midlands. The Festival 5km promoted by Tullamore Harriers attracted nearly 100 runners to do battle over the 4 lap course. Trim AC had 3 prizewinners in a race which was won in convincing style by Andrew Ledwith from Kildalkey.
Sean Sheehy 1st M55, Don Mahon, 3rd M40, Ann Tobin, 2nd W50.
