Shane pb in nationals
The AAI senior track and field championships took place at Morton Stadium, Santry on 6/7 August. Shane Aston was taking part in his first ever national senior decoder at the age of seventeen. His throw of 46m54 broke his previous best with the 800g javelin by three metres and earned him ninth place.
