The Pat Finnerty memorial 5km series got underway at Belvedere House near Mullingar last Wednesday evening. The 5 race series promoted by Mullingar Harriers AC attracted another massive crowd of over 600 to the lakeshore venue. Trim Ac had its usual strong representation at this event which brings out great performances from runners each year as they try to improve week on week. It also sets runners up well for the busy summer road racing schedule.
