The second duathlon in memory of Katie Nugent, (a six year old girl that died
after suffering from leukaemia in 2010) takes place in the grounds of
Ballinlough Castle Co Westmeath on Sunday October 21st next. Funds raised go
towards providing psychological and emotional support for patients on St Johns
ward at Crumlin Childrens Hospital.
The distance is 2.5km, 22km cycle,
2.5km. It costs €50 to enter with a minimum of €100 in sponsorship expected per
entry or for a two person team, €100 to enter and €200 in sponsorship. A post
race lunch is provided for all competitors.
